Barhouse Farm is a working farm, a family home, and the location of our small gelato retail hatch and milk vending machine, "the Milkbot."
We welcome all visitors during opening hours, but please be mindful of any signage or farmyard instructions, and respect the animals and the surrounds

Directions
Our address is Barhouse Farm, Elmore, Gloucester, GL2 3NT - from Gloucester, you can access the village of Elmore via Rea Bridge, by Green Farm Estate, or Sellars Bridge at the Pilot Pub. Drive into the village of Elmore, past Elmore Court, past the village hall, and we are 200 yards on the left after the hall. We are 8 minutes drive from junction 12 of the M5.
Parking
The car park is clearly marked on the right hand side of the road to the farm entrance. Any overflow parking will be clearly defined during busier months. Please ensure you are careful when crossing the road, especially with young children. Please be aware of other vehicles on entering and exiting the car park.
Opening Hours
Our open hours vary according to the seasons, and are clearly advertised on our homepage, google, and social media pages. As we are a working farm, and undertake much of our work outside of customer opening hours, for safety and privacy reasons, we request that people do not enter the farmyard unless we are open.
What's on Display?
Farm life will be visible to you when you visit - calves on view in the farm yard as well as the main milking herd depending upon the time of day/year you visit. During the grazing season, we bring the cows across the road from nearby fields for afternoon milking, at 1530 each day.
We kindly request that you do not climb on any gates or feed the animals. But take as many photos as you want, they're very photogenic!

Dogs
We are a family of dog-lovers - but since there are animals here on the farm we prefer there to be as few visiting animals as possible for biosecurity; well behaved dogs are allowed on a lead. We ask them not to get close to the farm animals because of the risk of disease and infection. All waste is the owner's responsibility.
